60's Beehive inspired updo for Goodwood revival 2018

Our Senior Stylist Gemma created a 60's Beehive inspired updo for Jenny visiting this years massive event The Goodwood Revival.

The 2018 Goodwood Revival has roared into action, offering petrol heads three days of racing and practice featuring some of the finest and most valuable racing cars in the world, racing wheel to wheel at the ultra-fast circuit just outside Chichester West Sussex.

There are 14 races over the course of the three day event, featuring a superb variety of cars produced from the 1930's right up to the Goodwood circuit’s closure in 1966.

The Duke of Richmond reopened the circuit for competitive use for the first Revival Meeting in September 1998, meaning that this year’s staging marks the event’s 20th anniversary.

The Revival was launched as a return to the golden age of motor racing in the 50's and 60's, when Goodwood hosted top meetings featuring the best drivers of the time. It has since grown year upon year to become one of the biggest historic motorsport events in the world and the only one to be staged entirely in period dress.

Not only are all the competing cars suitably historic, but all the vehicles within the circuit perimeter are also authentic. First-time visitors tend to describe it as like stepping back in time.

For most visitors a lot of the fun is that the Revival has become one of the biggest annual fancy dress parties in the world with participants and guests dressing in costumes from back in the day giving the event a special atmosphere.
