St Barnabas - Night to remember charity walk 2018

Once again our Senior Stylist Gemma Willis will be dusting off her trainers and packing some blister plasters ahead of the Night to Remember Walk in aid of St Barnabas Hospice care, as well as joining in on the fundraiser Gemma will be donating any of her tips this week.

This is the second time that Gemma has helped raise funds for this fantastic cause which is close to her heart as St Barnabas provided hospice care for her late grandparents.

Night to Remember raises funds for a Hospice at Home service, which was launched in 2012. The service provides hospice care for patients in their own homes.

Now in it’s 11th year, Night to Remember is a midnight walk along Worthing’s streets and seafront on Saturday 30 June 2018. Walkers can choose to walk our 7, 13.1 (half marathon), or 20 mile route which will take walkers past Worthing to Lancing and Shoreham!

After an energetic warm up, the route will take walkers around the track at Worthing Leisure Centre, through the streets of Worthing and down to Worthing promenade.

After walking along the promenade to the turnaround point opposite Brougham Road (7 and 13.1 mile routes) and in Shoreham by Sea (20 mile route) the walkers will make their way back to the Leisure Centre, taking in the iconic sights of Worthing Pier and The Dome.

Over the past 10 years, almost 10,000 people have walked the streets and seafront of Worthing and have raised over £1,400,000 for St Barnabas House – an incredible amount!

If you wish to sponsor Gemma or just make a donation let us know, call us on 01243 778990 or pop in to the salon and we will make sure that your help gets where it needs to.
